Altho it not a Ruger. I am not a fan of stainless guns at all, but there are a few id make exceptions for.

Some of em are:
Freedom Arms
BFR
SP101 9mm
S&W 625 45 acp
S&W 696 in 44 spl

Well today i lucked up on a 696. 3 people in line ahead of me. Dont know how i ended up with it. My buddy Big Rob was one of em. He took pity on me when it came around to him cause he already has one. Im blessed to have such good friends.

Got a set of Eagle grips. No box either but it is a no dash.

Very nice find! FWIW: I wouldn't hot rod it as the forcing cones on the 696's are quite thin. I've heard stories of them cracking, but I havn't read of a 1st hand experience.

Oh snap! Im sorry! I copied and pasted that from a text. Autocorrect musta nabbed it. Thanks iPhone

Dang, Joe, nice 696. I'd have no regrets either. Love them "meant to be" stories. Well, when you get bored with it, you just give me a holler ;)

Thanks Sturm. Deal is, Big Rob gets it since he passed on it to let me get it.
