modifying SR9 grip?

The reason? That may help with suggestions for grip mods. I find the SR9 grip very much to my liking, and the reversable back is all I need.

I'm looking for something with finger grooves for the sides of the grip, not just the reversable backing. My hands sweat a lot and I've had the gun slip while shooting at the range if the weather is hot -- which it is right now in NC.

For something quick and dirty, buy a bicycle tube at Walmart, cut and trim it, and turn it inside out. It doesn't look as bad as it sounds, and I've heard it works well in the type of weather you're exposed to.

Yeah, I was actually surprised at how nice feeling the bike tube was on my SR9. Very comfy, but it might be slick if it was wet (read sweaty) because its real smooth instead of stippled like the grip frame. Mine actually looked sweet with the OD frame too.

Houge grips are between 8-12 bucks, work and look good on my SR9.

I don't have one, but haven't heard anything bad about the Hogue Hand-All Grips. Finger grooves with slight palm swells. Relatively inexpensive.
