This is another of my TC Encores, on it is mounted a 26" full bull TC custom shop barrel with a Redfield 3x9 scope.

like the rifle! if i had that in 444 id be happy as a lark!

remember with the big ol 45, a 2" group is like a 1" group in a 223 or 30 cal. LOL!

yes one in 444 would be fun and a good hunting rig, When you shoot the 45-70 with a 535gr bullet you have time to light a cigar before the bullet makes contact with the target. Have not hunted with this rig yet but my plans are to use it next hunting season.

I shoot that same bullet out of my Winchester 1885 45/90. At our 1000 yard range I can shoot then have enough time to get on the spotting scope and watch the bullet hit the target. All with open sights. Makes a nice splat :D

Encores are a great versatile platform, thats' for sure!!
