I don't see a lot of feedback on these here. I'm thinking about getting one. Not that I need another 22 but I would just like to have one :) . I would like to hear what other owners have to say about them.

We have not gone to the range yet, bought a Purple MKIV for my wife (TCU grad) to try to get her interested in shooting. Seems nice, tricked it out with a bunch of added aftermarket parts. Liked it so much on arrival thinking about one for me, but not purple for me :D

I have the Mark IV 22/45 Lite. It's my favorite gun now. I've fired well over 10000 rounds as stock and close to 30K after all my modifications. It now looks like a VQ Scorpion. I use it for Steel Challenge Matches and it just plain works.

Today I am replacing the batteries on my C-More to be ready for tomorrow's match.

I also have a Mark III Hunter. The biggest difference is the time it takes to take them apart and put them back together when cleaning. I clean my guns after every use. The Mark IV takes all of 10 seconds to take apart. It's equally as easy to reassemble.

I did have problems in the very beginning but I sent it back to Ruger and they fixed it with one day service.

I bought mine about a month ago, cleaned, lubed it and to the range. At this time I shot six different brands of ammo through the MK IV 22/45 and none have been accurate. At 10-20 yards it is shooting softball sized groups, and that is from a rest. I did call Ruger when I first got the MKIV to ask about the slide stop rattle, the nice lady there said that was normal, really like the 22/45, I have a MKII, MKIII and they are real shooters. I'll be trying a couple more brands of ammo soon and we'll go from there.
