New to this forum, thought I would post a couple pix of my Std. MK III 6" with these cool pewter grips (produced in 1993) I picked up yesterday at the gun show for $35.
I like the eagle in the center (a subtle play on the Ruger emblem). These are MK II grips so I filed the mag release notch into them and they fit nicely. Now I need to find some silver screws...

That's funny. I'm not a fan of blued or tapered MK pistols and I've never really been hot for pewter, but your pistol is stunning.
