Minnesota– The courts have ruled against Minnesota and the Supreme Court let the lower court ruling stand so 18 Years old or older can now apply for a permit in Minnesota. As of April 21, 2925 18 years olds can apply. The Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus has put out info on the ruling you can read at the link below. With this ruling more states will be lowering their age to apply to 18 as the writing is on the wall now with this lower court ruling standing. Minnesota – 5/2/2025 – Minnesota Has updated their Reciprocity listing online. They will now honor permits from the states they honor issued to those 18 -20. They have added some states they would not previously honor as they issued to 18 year olds. They previously only honored 20 states with some of them restricted as they wouldn't honor any of that states permits issued to those 18 – 20. You can see their new listing with 33 states at the link below. The site has been updates to show theses changes.
