In reference to your "Any pros or cons?" question:
To start with, realize that the Mini's trigger group is very much like the Garand/M14/M1A trigger group in that it is (by necessity) a 2-stage affair which uses two sears and has more angles than a Chinese puzzle...point being that no matter what is done, it's "trigger feel" is not going to mirror what is found in a bolt action gun. Plus, there's only so much that can be done to one without getting into trouble in terms of increasing the odds of hammer follow, doubling, etc...the potential of which is further aggravated by the fact that the Mini platform is subject some rather unique vibrations which are not found in bolt guns.
In other words, the Mini is subject to two rearward recoil impulses AND one forward recoil impulse each time a cartridge is fired, all of which are happening as it's two-stage trigger is trying to reset itself...and all that that implies.
What I'm getting at here is that I'm not a fan of the multiple do-dads which ASI adds to their trigger work, nor of the "light weight" secondary sear-spring they offer, nor of the warnings and disclaimers found within their advertising. In other words, it seems to me that what they are actually telling me is that they themselves know that all of that crap may work OK once their modified trigger group is installed, or may not, and that there's safety-risk (plural) involved if/when the owner tries to adjust it if it don't, or tries to keep it adjusted later should it wear, become shook-loose from vibration, or whatever...not the sort of thing that I'd care to get myself involved in, let alone pay extra for...
But that's just me and how I look at it.
