Mini 14 rings

Do the Mini 14 Ranch Rifle models take equal or unequal height rings? I have one on the way and I may or may not have a set of rings that will work depending on the answer.

My 581 series Ranch Mini came with equal height rings, part number 5BHM, 1.062 height.

The "Ruger rings" that come as standard equipment are of equal height....Plus, the 582-up series also come drilled 'n tapped for an included 1-pc Weaver-style rail which takes conventional rings of equal height.

as noted above ANY 'height' rings will work as long as they are of the SAME height,,,this is more based on the size of the scope (optic) you are going to put on the gun, some scope have a large front 'bell' diameter, and you want to keep the center as low to the barrel as possible...........

I got a set of Quick Detachable rings from Alaska Arms:

They have 1" and 30mm in three heights and levers on left or right.
Really impressed with the quality and alaskaarmsllc.com.
I got 30mm low set for Mini 30 5804 to use Leupold 1-6x24 scope.
