Mini 14 question

I put 70 rounds through my new mini and have not cleaned it yet, except for swabbing the barrel. BTW it ran like a clock.
I'm an old geazer and a little afraid of taking it apart since I watched several videos and it seemed a little more complicated than I thought. So, my question is after how many rounds should I strip it down and clean it? Or, should I just pay the money and have the range gunsmith do it. I think he gets $25 for that.
Your opinion is greatly appreciated; thanks for the help

Spray what you can see with CLP, swab barrel, run a Hoppe-soaked patch around with your fingers where you can reach and call it done.

Mine never once got taken apart and always worked fine.
