I bought a 186 GB series srainless mini 14 with a tapco intrafuse stock. Any reason I can’t replace the tapco stock with a factory birch stock? Will the location of the front sight / bayonet lug of the GB series interfere with the birch stock? Will I need any additional hardware? Sorry for the dumb questions… I’m new to the mini platform!

The bayonet lug will cause no problem. Unless you get a wood stock with the parts already present you'll need the steel forend liner and receiver bracket and two screws with washer. I'm not certain which series wood stock to get, can't quite keep them straight. I have a Ranch Rifle, ended up putting it in a stock made for the Mini 190 series IIRC.

any wood stock will work, I have a walnut one on GB that will work and is pictured with My GB mini in it

I assume you mean "Gun Broker" - If so can you send me a link to the listing?

Thanks

If any wood stock will work this factory stock from Numrich is a great deal.

I bought one for my Ranch Rifle and the action dropped in easy. No one's going to mistake the walnut for Ruger No1 quality, but it's a far sight better than the stained birch. It comes with the buttplate, but the metal and screws are separate for about $18.00 total.
