Mini 14 Gas Block Screw Size

I was changing out my walnut stock for a Hogue overmolded stock and when i removed the gas block one of the screws was stripped. I would like to try and chase the threads in the gas block to save it but I am not sure on the size. I think it is 8-36 but can anyone verify if that is correct? :?:

Not that it matters, but what in the world were you doing taking the gas block apart for?

if for no other reason, this is a bump so someone else can possibly help.

I have an extra gas block screw with my parts. I will dig I out after work and see I I can figure it out. Ruger often staked the screws there so they can be trouble to remove. Make sure to lock the threads somehow when you re-install.
