I had to make a run to the local Circle K convenience store this evening to buy a gallon of milk. Most of my groceries all come from the regular grocery stores. There I'll buy a gallon of milk for $4.24 last time I took note. Tonight because my great grandson, at one year old, is at my house and I ran out of milk. That convenient store gallon of milk cost $7.52 plus tax for a total of $7.74. I know it's a convenience store but that's one heck of a markup.
