BEWARE, they do fail after time!

Bought them for my P91 and P95......
20 YEARS AGO.......

LOL,
After 20 YEARS the set on my P91 might need replaced!

Yeah,
Real reason for this post is that my MEPRO night sites were a great choice!

The Mepro's rocked for 20 years......finally dimming, but prolly good for another year.
(The set on the P95,still bright).

Priced well, worked great for 2 decades.....Happy camper!

How is this for a long term review?

My Kimber TLE II came with Meprolite night sights when I bought it back in 2005 and their just starting to dim a bit .My late 3 rd gen Glock G 17 came with Trijicon nite sites in 2005 and their just as bright as when new however my Springfield Armory Socom 16 built in 2007 came with an XS slight front post made by Trijicon and you can just barley see it , the good folks at Trijicon are going to replace it for free .Their guarantee for green tritium is 12 years ,but they themselves say 99 out of 100 times they will glow good for 20 years or better .
I bought a set of Tro Glo TFO's for my duty Glock back in 2009 and they are awesome and still glowing brightly.
The Meprolites on my Kimber TLE II are gonna get replaced when the time comes with a set of the Try Glo's their just a bit bigger than the Meprolite sights and serious night fighting sights .
All in all I've had great resulted from both Meprlite and Trijicon with the exception of the SX sight on the Socom but like I said their gonna replace it for free .

I have meprolites on my old P94 & my XD since 2008. I haven't had the P94 out for a while but I noticed the other day the ones on my XD aren't quite as bright as they once were. They are still fine though.

The
Meprolite sights the insert is smaller than the Trijicons on the Glock ,but they still work good enough to really be able to pick them up quick in total darkness.

I have Mepro sights on a few and the one thing I have already done is to get
a . . . good . . . sight pushing tool. NOT an el-cheap-o, but good ones. They
currently run from $175 to $250 depending on brand and vendor.

I used one of those to change out the nights that went weak on a Sig P220
that I bought used. With the pusher, it is a piece of cake, as the saying
goes. Without one it would be a near disaster. That opinion obtained
from one that I changed . . with . . the pusher. 8)

I'm pleased with Mepro.
