I have a couple of them too. I'm really more of a guitar picker than banjo. Played guitar for about 30 years. Just picked up the banjo last spring.

There was a jug being passed around that day. A very close friend of ours passed away. We had his wake at our camp. Played some banjo, smoked some cigars and took more than a couple pulls from the jug.

There are 2 volume settings on the banjo.

Before Steve Martin (who is very good) was Earl Scruggs and Pete Seeger. Google banjo musi by those guys. Try Foggy Mountain Breakdown. Wow. :D

I've watched quite a few of her youtube videos. That young lady knows how to pick a banjo. Incredible talent there.
