Marlin/Blackhawk Knuckle Buster?

Actually I just wanted to show you my friend trying out his new .45-70 lever gun, and me trying out the video on my pocket camera.

He couldn't figure out how to directly chamber a live round...so he ate it. :shock:

It was hilarious last Sunday in the boonies...for me anyway.

He doesn't have a problem with his NM .45 Colt Blackhawk trigger guard...go figure.

I fail to see any humor in that. Looks like an accident looking for a place to happen. I think a good idea would be for you to have him read the instructions before launching anymore rounds downrange. He obviously doesn't know how to operate the weapon in his hand.

There was no mishandling, just a little trouble dropping a round in the chamber.

I put a little foam pad, cut from a mouse pad, on the front of my 96/44 lever. Saves the knuckle.

That was a lever action. Last time I checked that is not the prescribed manner to load.
