Marlin 39A, 1951 PEANUT. Rifle is in excellent condition. Wood has no chips, cracks or splits, original finish. Peanut is in excellent condition, no initials. Barrel has no rust or bluing loss, muzzle shows no bluing loss. The sight hood is not the original and the sight shows no damage. The serial number H24169 also appears on the inside of the neck of the butt stock. The tang area under the stock shows no rust or damage of any kind. The right side of the receiver shows a small area of very light pitting, as does the left side. Some light bluing loss, no bare metal. The butt plate shows no cracks or chips.
