Mark IV 22/45 Tactical holster needed

I'm looking for a holster preferably Kydex for my Mark IV 22/45 Tactical with a Vortex Venom optic attached. I've been searching but coming up empty. I've found a limited amount for the MK IV but the rails and optic seem to be a problem.

I have 2 such holsters
The FOBUS is a very "open" design that leaves a lot of the pistol exposed causing the front sight to snag on nearly everything.
The other says" TD LABS" so I'm not sure what the tradename is. www.tdlabs.com
It covers more of the pistol and is my preference.
Both will fit the 22/45 with a mounted optic and both use adjustable tension (non mechanical) retention.

FYI, Kydex is going to wear the hell out of your blued Ruger. Much quicker and more harshly than leather.

Not my experience. I've used Kydex holsters for my blued 1911 for years and the bluing wear is minimal.

I prefer a Kydex holster for packing a stainless/synthetic KP95DC. Even that shows holster wear after a decade. Put this into perspective: it's a $250 22 pistol not a vintage Browning HP.

Then your experience is the exception, rather than the rule.

Maybe so but I wouldn't do that to any of mine. I don't even do that with my polymer framed autos, which are viewed merely as tools. I don't care what you or anyone else does with their own guns but the OP should know, if he doesn't already, that Kydex tends to impart a lot more wear on guns than leather. Maybe he cares, maybe he doesn't but he should know ahead of time either way.

Fobus only lists mag holders for MK IV no holsters

TD labs refers everything to G & G and they look to be all duty holsters

Tandemkross only seems to have a big bulky expensive leather holster to fit my application.

I saw a couple of holsters like the one I have on (ebay) just last week.

As a 'long shot', if all else fails, go to Tandy Leather's site. They sell the "Kydex", compete with instructions, that you can use to make your own holster.
