Anyone watch the magnet fishing videos? Lotsa junk junk, but sometimes neat stuff. In the more violent areas, they get guns alot.

I've seen it done, and I've even tried it a bit.
I've never watched the TV show though.
I scuba dive, and I also metal detect. (And yes,, even underwater.)

Wife bought me one for Christmas last year. Only time I've used it was to get all the nails/screws out of the firepit. Still want to take it out but never seem to have the time.

Heck all fishing has a very low ratio of return. That's why they call it fishing not catching. Besides, if you don't catch anything, you don't have anything to clean.

I have one that will lift 250 # under water. I have found a lot of crap, but never anything good. One time I picked up something so heavy that it wouldn't come up. Never found out what it was.
