M77 Tang 243 Win Flat bolt

Found one in local shop. It is about 85% I would say. It is the first flat bolt I have held. SN 70-518xx. Has rings but the scope is trash. They are asking $400. I like the tang safety guns and have been wanting a flat bolt. Is it worth the price or not?

If I was looking for a .243 I would buy it.

at 400 it's a buy offer less and it might be even better. No downside to this one, not much upside considering the condition but depending on the real definition of 85% it probably worth at least 500

Took another close look at this rifle and think that it comes in closer to 75% to 80%. I will think about it until payday and then decide. It could use a good home and some TLC. 8)

Should make a very fine shooter. And, it should have a Douglas barrel on it from the factory. They usually shoot very well.
