In installing a large scope on my 308 old (tang safety) M77 I see that I need to remove the rear sight. I have removed to front and back screws but it is still securely attached. Is there another screw under the windage adjustment?
Yes, remove the sight from the base dovetail to expose the third screw & you’ll be in good shape. If you don’t want to keep the rear sight assembly, let me know.
