One of my all time favorite (late) working buddies (a Chem Engineering pard from Moundsville WV) was a SERIOUS Ford Tractor collector/restorer. He collected the originals from as early as 1935, restored them in his home workshop, and sold them. I saw your post and broke into tears. Every time I see a Ford grey and red tractor I remember my buddy, Hubie. He even has a street named after him in Glendale, WV.

Now they are seriously neat! I would love to have one of those for my great grandson.
I remember driving one of the real ones before I had a license. My buddy's dad had two and so long as it had some 'equipment' attached it could be driven on the highway. A sickle bar was our 'equipment'.

That is great. I fixed up my Dad's old Ford NAA Jubilee tractor a couple of years ago. I can really appreciate the work he put into that.

I've had a 1950 Ford 8N for over ten years now. Also have a 1958 Massey Ferguson 202 Workbull.

The little "N" he built for his kid is really cool. I just hope when towing something and getting stuck, it's not capable of flipping front end over back end like the real "N's" could do. Lots of people died that way. If it will pull that disc, it must have quite a bit of power.

Maybe Dad loaded those front tires, I hope so.
