Looooong ERH

Wow, if the stroke on that thing was equal to its' length, you could put the empties in your shirt pocket (or someone else's)...

There have been many instances of ejector rod assemblies being "ejected" from heavy-recoiling guns. One possible cause of this is the inertia of the ER assembly overpowering the tiny screw holding it in place during firing. This "custom" item will only add to said inertia, and the placement of the screw, in the "standard" location, only makes it worse from a leverage standpoint.

Another cause of "ejection" of the assembly is not keeping the little screw tight, but this thingie will certainly exacerbate the situation considerably.

It just doesn't look right to me. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

You're right, Cary, it just don't look right. The current ejector rod housing is just the length God and Sam Colt meant it to be.

Ale-8 is correct. Thank you Sir for physics lesson. What galls me is that some one with the imagination to put this thing together with the hope of selling it. Over looks a huge and waiting market in he Bear Cat ERH arena.Calthrop

Seller says it gives "a much better appearance"! Sorry I can't agree with him. However, beauty is in the eye of the "beholder"!...............Dick

I disagree with the seller. I and others like me are his market. Read the posts above. I am not on your case. I he had researched what products we need BC EJH"s would have topped the list.

Anyway I do not have a holster that would take a thing like that. I hope he is reading these posts. Nice try man. if you want to make some money make some quality BC housings that fit and work for a good price and you will have lots of customers. Calthrop
