Good Afternoon:
Needle-in-a-haystack search for a shiny nickel-plated Ruger aluminum grip frame
It is the old aluminum grip frame for 3 screw revolvers marked XR3-RED
With a hole for spring/plunger trigger return system
Looking to put it on a Ruger Old Army revolver
Thanks

Polish out your anodized aluminum grip frame and you'll have the same look. To my knowledge, Ruger made so few nickel plated single actions that the chances of finding one are three - fat, slim, and none.

Thank you Sir -- I will give that a try!
Suggestions on a brand of polish?

Or,,,
These guys have several different hard chrome finishes that would work on your part that already fits your gun.
Prices are not bad.

Oven cleaner will remove or facilitate removal of the black anodizing. Then proceed with successively fine grades of wet or dry sandpaper, emery cloth, steel wool, etc.. you can take it as far as you want. Near the end, Mother's Mag Polish. Simichrome, jewelers rouge, or similar will aid in getting that high polish, chrome or nickeled appearance.
Here's one on an old model . 357 to . 44 special conversion I did some years ago. It's not real shiny, more of a stainless look finish, but you can make them as shiny as you want - just keep polishing.
