For sale MR-3DB brass grip frame $265.00 including USPS Priority Mail Shipping (small box)
Frame was obtained from Ruger Newport, It has not had the grip roll pin installed (as can be seen). It was tarnished and I’ve lightly polished it with Fitz to remove exterior oxidation. It may, or may not need to have additional fitting required to match it to a frame. These frames were matched polished to a master frame or an actual revolver frame at the factory (Southport) and then removed, and left to sit in inventory for decades.
A previous one I sold was mounted to an OM and immediately used with no additional fitting . Have sold a number of these and all buyers have been satisfied with what they have received. Would, however, recommend a good buffing wheel polish, but it looks pretty good as can be seen in the photos.
These were obtained in 2013, via a manufacturing engineer working at Newport.
Available in addition to the frame, is a used, wide serrated hammer (old model) which would have come with the brass grip frames when mounted on a revolver or Old Army. Asking $50.00, if purchased with grip frame.
Also have what appears to be a NOS serrated hammer, if you’d prefer that instead, it would be $75.00
