Glad! you are getting some much needed rains up there. We sure could use some more of that here in Central Texas. It's starting to look like last summer's drought around here.

I used to get views like that from the derrick of a rig from time to time, takes me back, thanks Doc

The white spots in the distance are trucks on Interstate 40. Probably 10 miles away, maybe 15 or 20. Dr.C

Doc- Have you tried dropping a fishing line in the water hole yet? What kind of fish do you see in there?

Kevin: That thing is just teaming with 1# perch. The kids had a ball catching them as soon as the hook hit the water !!! Dr.C

I bet they had a blast! Did you get them some new hats?

Kevin: Yes, they looked like Texans on the way back to New York. Went fishing and a big bit of serious off roading to get there. Went to the Clovis rodeo, Palo Duro Canyon, rode the John Deere tractor most of one day, rode the horse, cooked outside, looked at the panhandle wildlife. All in all I think it was a very sucessful visit.

Hawkeye: I have been on top of that little mesa. There is a grave up there of a little girl that died on a wagon train that was passing thru the area in the 1880's as the story goes....Dr.C
