.....The meaning of her name.

The song "Isn't She Lovely" has to be one of the most heartwarming songs ever written in our contemporary times. The elation of a father welcoming his daughter into the world all the while acknowledging the miracle of womanhood. Last night that song was brought full circle when Aisha took the stage and sang the song to her father.

Last night aired a special honoring Stevie Wonder and many, from Tony Bennett to Lady Gaga took the stage to sing his songs. Stevie himself ended the show and sounded great but when Aisha sang that song to her father there wasn't a dry eye in my household. Besides all that, what he said at the end of the show stating his love for everyone and the way he said it was so very uplifting. So glad I was able to catch it last night.

Have a great day everyone, Pierow

A great man with a great voice. I wish the sharpton's, jackson's and obama's of the world could gather a little of his grace and integrity. That sounds like a show I would have enjoyed. Sorry I missed it.

Stevie Wonder creates music that bring the races together, and does not alienate them. Can't say the same about many African-American "musicians" these days. And Stevie has been spreading his message of love for 50 years!

If you have never heard it before, a more recent song by Stevie released in 1991 entitled "These Three Words" practically requires you to have a box of Kleenex handy. If anyone cares to look it up and listen to it, respond back here if you recognize the type of piano he is playing in the song. It almost sounds like a toy but very charming.
