Jim Stroh performed his accurizing pkg, some mill work to the main frame & GF, also adding his front sight and a Keith #5 Black Mountain base pin. The craftsman for the grips was mentioned above. The re-blue, CCH and nitre blue accessories was performed by Doug Turnbull.

The base gun is a Lipseys Blackhawk 44 spl Bisley flat-top.

I have been a big fan of Patrick Grashorn's elk stag grips and have had several sets.

Here was a nice set on an OM Flat Top

I got the grips for this Vaquero for $30 off Ebay and I took some black model paint, covered the whole thing and very lightly sanded off the highlights to reveal the filled in areas.

Lately I have been taking some of the factory grips and just redoing them, in the case of my current Ruger I just smoothed them out some and added a couple of coats of Tru oil which gives it a nice sheen and a good look for factory grips.
