Just in case you lefties have not noticed, the Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle is now available in left handed on Ruger's sight.

I think "listed" might be a better term, one can hardly find a right handed one. Bob!

Good point. I guess what I mean is you can start asking your dealers to keep their eyes open and try to see if they are available anywhere. Could be months before any of these surface.

Now if they'll make a left handed M77 RSI... I'd be in hog heaven...

Sorry for the interuption.. back to the topic..

something like this could seriously push me to sell my Bushmaster that I don't use...

Singleshot, I'm right handed right eye, but I have a son and a daughter that seem to be cross-dominant left eye. That's what makes the leftie GSR real important to me. Personally though my favorite rifles are M77 RSIs, and to be able to get one in left handed for my son in a couple years would be really nice. I guess it doesn't matter since Ruger isn't making any new M77 RSIs right now, but those would be nice to have in a left hand option.

Last show I was at had 3 or 4 on tables for sale. Many times people blame the manufacturer for not getting an item out but not consider their dealers simply not ordering them or being high enough in the allocation ladder to get one.

An odd thing I noticed about the left handed model. For whatever reason, it's about $40 cheaper(dealer cost) than the right handed version, at least at one of my distributors that have it listed. Of course, they don't have any. I guess I've got to climb up that allocation ladder quicker. Bob!! :P

I noticed that another dealer had the land handed Scout for the same price as the right handed model. I suspect the first listing is in error! Bob!!
