LCR-22 front sight

I wanted a fiber optic front sight for the LCR-22 have one on my LCR-357.
The only difference is the height of the front sight.

I ordered Ruger # 12001 from their web site the green fiber optic sight. This is the same one I have on the 357.
Installed it this afternoon and headed to the range.

Shot it at 15 yards and it did just fine; same impact as the factory metal sight. I'm satisfied with it.

At long distances it could be a problem but who shoots a snubby long range... :shock:

I am kidding........ I just received one of the sights you are talking about and have hesitated to put it on. I appreciate you posting this, and I am going to change it out.

The fiber optic sight fits just fine, no modifications to install it.
Shoots good I have shot it at 30 feet, 20 feet and 10 feet and it shoots good.

The LCR22 has a different height front sight than the LCR38 and 357 but up close I can't tell any difference in the point of impact.
