lcp problem

I have had my LCP for about 6 months now and it has been flawless until the other day.This gun has about 250 rounds through it.i went to the range the other day and the slide hangs up once in a while.i believe it's the slide lock not staying down all the way and locking up the works here is a pic

Not your slide stop, look were the barrel hood locks up at the top of the slide. If like mine the barrel hood hangs up on the slide. Looks like the slide is soft an with use deforms. going to send it back to Ruger when I have time. I have less than 150rnds, thru mine.

Thanks for the info.I looked and it is exactly like you said. I called Ruger and they're having a "tech" call me tomorrow. I'll post how I make out.
