LC9 w/ laser

My favorite gun shop had a sale on ruger's so I bought an LC9 with a laser max laser for $369, also picked up another mag for it.

It's cleaned and lubed so maybe this evening or tomorrow morning I'll take it to the range. It was 108 Deg today and will be tomorrow too. To darn hot to go shoot.

That seemed like a great price. I was quoted $419 when I was shopping around.
And I thought it was a scorcher here today in the Pac NW @ 60 degrees.

The more I shoot it the better it and I shoot.
Put 50 rounds thru it on Sat. and 125 thru it yesterday. Not any malfunctions.

It's a keeper.

I just grabbed one for $399. I really like it, but hit the mag eject button a few times while firing. I'd like to file the botton down a bit and see if the magazine disconnect safety can be removed. If I ever accidently drop the mag, I want the chambered bullet to still fire.

Love the size and feel, and how it shoots. The laser is sweet too. I hate ones that have the beam out the side. My thumb/palm covers them easily. Got rid of a Sig P290 because it was just too small IMO and I hated it.

That LC9 is a nice looking pistol. On my list of possible future purchases. Saw one sold today at my local Turner's.

I saw one of these used with less than 200 rds. through it. It came with an extra mag (2 total) 2-Shark Tac holsters, a single mag carrier, box and the paperwork. It was posted for $325.00 and the owner was willing to drive part way to sell the gun. So guess what I did. :mrgreen:

I thought so. The guy told me he paid $150.00 just for the 2 holsters! We have a guy at out local gun show that makes a custom molded leather/kydex IWB holster for only $40.00 that looks alot like the Crossbreed. I have one for my 1911 and it is the most comfortable holster I own.

There is a gent selling these on gunbrokers for $340 with the laser, $25 for shipping. Just clicked the buttom myself.
Anxious to see how the little devil functions.
Any suggestion for factory personal defense ammo?

I've been shooting my reloads with cast lead bullets right now.

I bought a box of Hornady 124 gr HP XTP bullets and will load some this week.
