Have any of you that have owned an older model LC9 had any experience with the Galloway trigger bar & hammer kit or the Saints Arms trigger bar & hammer kit.

Had Ms Lefty out to the range today to shoot all of our Ruger autos, SR40 & 9Cs, LCP and by the time she gets the LC9 to go boom she is almost pointing the muzzle at knee level at 10 yards. Or do I just need to do a trade in for the LC9S or go for something different in another single stack 9mm with a lite trigger. We keep this gun in a book in the den of our home as a just in case go to, but if she can't figure out the trigger pull it is not much good.

I have a friend that has put the Galloway bar and RTK trigger in his LC9. He also changed the springs. It made a huge difference in the weight of the pull and some difference in the length of the trigger pull.

I put the RTK trigger and Galloway bar in my KelTec PF-9 and it helped it quite a bit. The shape of the trigger helps to give a better and more comfortable feel. I did not change any springs. The bar does shorten the length some and makes the trigger pull much more manageable.

I have an LC9 and it shot low at first.

I added the pinky finger extension that came with magazine and practised and now I can get the full mag into a paper plate at 10 yard.

The pinky finger extension helped me a lot.

I still need more practice, but it's getting good enough for HD.

But a target gun it's not.
