I went to the range today with my LC9 and I must say that it was GOOD! :D Like other people have said (I would be included) this gun isn't a range gun made to shoot out bulls eyes. It's designed to work best up close and personal. That being said, it's very accurate. Yes, the trigger pull is long but with practice it's pretty sweet. I have had a problem with mine in the past. I had to send it back to Ruger to get the Hammer Catch Spring replaced but since then it's been flawless. The trigger is a little gritty right at the break but it's smoothing itself out. I've fired around 600 rounds through her. Today I put 100 more rounds down range without a hickup. Below is my target. I was shooting at 9' then on to 15' and finally at 21'. As you can see, I jerked the trigger a couple of times but I'm pretty happy with the results.

Happy to hear from another satisfied LC9 owner. Every time I take mine to the range, it puts a big grin on my face.

147 Gr. bullets are my favorite. I carry 147 Gr. Federal HST hollow pts.

I normally shoot either Federal or WWB 115 grain FMJ at the range. My carry ammo is Hornady Critical Defense 115 grain. How much kick and muzzle flash does the Federal 147 grain HST give you?
