LC9 - Front Sight Pinned?

I have heard that newer LC9s are being shipped with the front sight held in place with a roll pin. Mine does not have a pin, but after 500 rds shows no signs of loosening, although it does visually appear to be slightly off center. Accuracy is still good enough for its intended purpose.

I'm just wondering if I should send it in to have the sight pinned anyway just to prevent the potential for future problems.

Mine was pined vertically (thru the slide into the sight) it came loose rather quickly. I drove the sight out, flushed the pin and 2 part epoxied it back in.
Simple fix and it is working well, btw I like the gun.
