I've had the gun for a year, fired maybe 300 rounds. On the 4th round from a magazine the gun jammed. The extractor is sitting cockyed and I can't budge it. It prevents the slide from going forward to chamber a round. I have only fired factory ammo and no +P's since the manual says the gun won't handle them. Called Ruger and they claim this a new one to them and sent a prepaid label. I sent the gun to them 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing. I know the manual says there is no warranty.
Anyone else have this happen?

Not to worry, Ruger will stand behind it.

They will fix it...no worries there.

I dont have the manual in front of me, but I thought it said you could shoot any SAMMI rated ammo. +P is SAMMI rated and should not be a problem in your LC9 - I personally would not put a regular diet of +P in mine though.
