Computer is not responding to key strokes. Going back tomorrow. Under warranty, so I will be back in a few weeks. Spell check is the only reason you can read this post.
GOD bless all ya'll.
I will miss my visits. Can still use my smart phone, just cain't see the damn thing. Be safe,
Rick

We have backup guns now we may need backup computers.

What is crazy? Backup computers are much cheaper now. Heck, the laptop I am using right now is state of the art but was only $299, granted it is a refurbish but heck it works great. 17 inch screen and completely reliable. We don't even have a desk top now, no need for what we do.

Vol: Check out some of Amazon's clearance products. You will be amazed at the prices. Refurb. who cares? If it does what you want. We have two high dollar TVs and this laptop that are all refurbs and they cost 30% of original price.

Forgot to say, they carry the same warranty as new.

Big Old Boy, that isn't such a bad idea. Plus iPads and tablets seem to be more stable against viruses. Not sure if that is true or not but it has been my experience.

UPS didn't pick up today. Repreve you might say.
Got the ole lady's old computer as backup kaput also. (dell)
Please excuse spelling.
Chrome book is what I use mostly as no fancy stuff needed.
Honestly would rather spend $300 on guns or reloading stuff than another computer.
Can do all from my smart phone worst case. Just cannot see the details and don't want log info on phone.
Wife has always had good computers. I just need access to order stuff and vst Ruger forum.

The real hell of replacing a computer is moving all your stuff from the old one to the new one. That and getting rid of all the junk that comes on a new one. Same thing with a smart phone. I end up with so many apps and other stuff on my phone that it's positively torture to get everything moved over.

Plus with new phones you have to worry about monthly fees for certain apps. I got a new phone recently and some music app I never used had a monthly fee. Only there was a 30 day free trial period. So the next month I started to get this bill, like 9 a month. I had to find the company's phone number and call them to cancel my "membership" I didn't even realize I had. It started automatically with the activation of the phone, not something you sign up for.

Not sure if new computers are doing that or not. It is very annoying, almost borderline theft. You know, a small charge hoping the people won't notice on their credit card bill.
