KS9 front sight ??

Every once in a while a picture will show up of a KS9 with a target type front sight on it. Flatgate shows one with what I believe he said was a front sight off from a 357 Maximum and it seems like I have seen some pics of others that had a sight that wasn't the normal ramp front sight. Any ideas of what to use to accomplish this?

Most any of the screw on target front sights will fit. (SBH, Mk-II) The base curve may have a slight difference but not enough that most people will notice.

If memory serves these are SBH front blades.

Ruger semi-auto .22 pistols have such sights and they can be slapped on a stainless Single-Six in a heartbeat.

I just got off the phone with Ruger customer service and ordered a front sight for my KS9. I ordered a sight from a KMK10 because the diameter on that barrel came closest to the KS9 barrel at the muzzle so it should fit better than than one off the full bull barreled MKII's. The cost was $15.79 total. The sight is also slightly taller than the original ramp sight. My eyes seem to be better able to pick up the sight picture with the undercut blade. Thanks to Dan and Flatgate for your help.
