I hope this question isn't too ignorant, but is there anything unusual about a 4 5/8-inch stainless New Model Super Single-Six (KNR4)? The local gun shop has a brand-new one, but it doesn't appear to be in the current Ruger catalog. :?

TIA.

That is a distributor exclusive. Made for Lipsey's in Louisana. Not very many made and may be a collector someday.

Yep, they are a Lipsey's exclusive and you can find them on the Lipsey's website.

There's one for sale on GunBroker right now. I had a couple awhile back and sold them prior to ever shooting them. Real nice revolvers, wish I would have kept one.

If I remember correctly, one of mine was in a green case (Lipsey) but the other was in a grey case. Not sure where that one came from but I'm pretty sure it wasn't a Lipsey. Or maybe I'm not remembering correctly.......all I do know is that the ones in the green case as Lipsey exclusives.
