Well I got the chance to handle one of these the other day. I was really considering buying it but the price was a bit high for a 'toy', $350.

....and it is a toy, it feels and weighs just like a squirtgun, it's absolutely hilarous.

I do like shooting .22wmr from a handgun, I think it's a lot a fun but $350 for a toy is too much, I'll wait.

I saw when those first came out over at ktog. Personally .22 mag is a little too expensive for me to use just for plinking. I'd rather practice with my defensive pistols if I'm going to spend that much money on ammo. It does look like a neat little pistol though. It might work for a pretty cool little trail gun.

I was looking at that gun too and would have bought it if it was .22 LR. I mean why use .22 magnum when they cost like 10 times more? Might as well use .223 ammo.

Boy, are you being ripped off, .22wmr averages $10 for fifty rounds around here.

500 rounds of .22 LR cost about $13 so yeah...

$350's the best price I've heard of for this gun. It wouldn't be my 1st choice for a home/truck defense gun, but I wouldn't feel undergunned peppering some BG's or zombies with 31 shots and an extra mag. with 30 more.

Sorry you feel it's a toy. Waiting for what?

Waiting for another fun gun for me to come around, not a serious range or defense gun, just a fun gun to shoot.

I handled one for the first time yesterday. I thought it was an airsoft toy with no orange tip. The real joke was the dealer was asking a gun show price of 469.00. I'd like to get one some day but I have a feeling the 1st gen run is going to be a bit buggy.

Stumpy, your price is more in line with what I've heard them going for. Last I looked it retailed for $415, might be higher now. Demand seems to be high.

I hear you on that! Those mags. can thin a wallet in a hurry. I think the PMR30 would be a fun to own and shoot if somebody else fed it  I might have walked home with that plastic wonder for $350 though if it at least looked reasonably well made.

A street price of $350 would be in line for a $415 retail price gun, I do know that the gun is a waiting list one at the moment, so it will be higher from some suppliers. .22wmr is no more expensive than 9mm and probably less on sale, I've picked up boxes of fifty CCI for $8 and change at Cabelas. The price on magnum rimfire would go down at some point if more was made.
