which magazine would be best?: Shooting Times or Guns and Ammo?

The correct answer.Ale-8(1)":2mpmdsnl said:Neither is anyway close to what it used to be. Not even close.
AMERICAN HANDGUNNER is much better, IMHO.

With all due respect, has Jeff ever seen a gun he didn't like? I do enjoy his reviews. But while I certainly haven't read them all, it seems like he is rarely negative.
Usually you and I are on the same page, but here I couldn't disagree with you more. I think Sweeney is one of the best two or three gunwriters working today.tomiswho":2gs8hld0 said:I try to stay away from anything that includes Patrick Sweeney. His credentials are impressive, but his writing is nothing but promo copy for the folks who send him the guns to test or just to promote himself. He really never does an honest "compare and contrast" - just bloats up certain products. And if he doesn't like shooting in Michigan's winter, he should move somewhere warm.
I'd much rather go to www.gunblast.com and read/see a REAL review.
Well, then, you're going to be disappointed with either G&A or ST.Jayhawkhuntclub":4lyrgoch said:Seems like the correct answer would be one that answers the question asked. Okay, okay, I know everyone is trying to be helpful, but it seems like every question ever posted is ignored so someone can state their opinion on something related. I already get American Handgunner, that's why it wasn't part of the question. I agree, it's pretty good.
