I got a call from a good friend yesterday, informing me of Jim's passing. It was sad to hear. having met Jim several times over the years at SHOT,, I found him to be quite personable. Once,, we were both awaiting out flights out of Vegas,, and sat & chatted a bit there as well.
RIP Jim,, you are missed.

Sad to hear...... Had the good fortune to meet him back in the 90's when we filmed a review of a few old vintage weapons. I was a mounted cavalry reenactor and I and another fella were selected to use and discuss both the Starr revolver and the Whitworth rifle. He was very personable and down to earth. Seemed to enjoy what he did.
