Ivory micarta for service six?

I have a 9mm service six 4 inch on the way!

I would like to give this old school gun a retro look. I am looking at a Berns and Martin style holster by Sherrick for it. What I would really like to complete the set with is a set of ivory micarta grips, I can not seem to find any, and wondering if anyone out there knows where I can get a set? There was an old set of Jay Scott's on gunbroker, but they have since sold. I would love to have a new manufactured set so I can have them scrimshawed but some Jay Scott's would work too.

In my mind, when it comes to the Service-Six era, it don't get much more "retro" than Jay Scotts.....and perhaps in conjunction with one of those period grip adaptor/filler thingy's?
You will however, find Jay Scotts to be quite a bit thicker than factory grips and a with a bit of overhang here and there. If that bothers you though, they are quite easy to reshape and/or re-polish.

Jays would be your best bet! They turn up on ebay now and then.
Have you thought about going with a pair of Stags?

I am a sucker for the stags.
They go great on stainless handguns.

Those stags on the Service Sixes look great. If Ruger would have put them on a show piece or two, they would have sold a lot more of their weapons.

Terry they look nice and that Security Six snubbie is "A great set up"

Usually not jealous of Ruger DAs, but yours above causes more than a twinge of envy.

Not a stag fan-Should have bought those Jay Scott's when i seen them on GB. Was thinking wanted to stay in 9mm din't think I would ever own one in 9-well a fool I am!
