high peaks above us are definatly getting a load of snow right now and supposedly by tonight snowmageddon from here to Joplin lasting until sometime Monday with high winds expected, real fun on every east west road in the region

Yep! Global warming has hit again. I have about 6 inches of it on my front porch. Started about 11:30 this morning and it is now 19:58 and still falling. One good thing is the temp has actually reached the mid-twenties but is supposed to drop back to single digits tonight.
I am also having a problem keeping the bird feeders full. I have two hangers on the porch and they both have been filled twice today. Each filling takes four cups of food for the two of them. Birds are eating better than I am.
