I did a Google search and saw some others that looked similar.

Is this a crack line or do some come from the factory this way? :?:

Looks like molding lines... take the back-end off and look at the sides end-on.

It's not a crack, but a mark from the mold. I have 21 BX-1 magazines. Three (purchased at the same time) came looking just like yours. I'd guess mine are from the same manufacturing batch as yours.

They work perfectly.
