The question about paint for a tractor recalled my memories of working in a paint store.
Many years ago, back when the antiquing of furniture was popular, I worked in a PPG paint store, and in time, I became known as sort of an expert on antiquing, especially without buying those kits that were so popular at the time.
One day a lady came in and I explained as thoroughly as possible the steps necessary to a good finish. She said she was working a project with her neighbor, each having a project at hand. She cheerfully bought everything I had suggested, paid, and left.
Two days later, she came in with her neighbor, both bubbling over with glee, and both clad in old clothes and paint-stained smocks.
With her neighbor in tow, she blurted out, "You can see what she's been up to!"
Her neighbor was very obviously pregnant.

P.S. And I kept my composure.
