Just in case someone from Ruger is watching;
I'd like to see an unbreakable, spring-loaded, rebounding firing pin. I've seen M1-Carbine bolt assemblies which were modified that way and they worked very well....almost fool proof actually. If done at the factory, such a set up would allow for a much simpler/stronger/cheaper firing pin AND eliminate the need for the special receiver-cut that is presently required for a "retractable" firing pin....a system which worked real well on the bigger/stronger/forged-steel M1 Garand....but...hey guys, your Mini aint made from forged parts, and this aint the 1940's any more....so it really would be OK to use a modern ignition system.
A heavier-duty rear sight with click adjustments would be great. And please....use a dovetail mount next time, or at least something stronger than that one dinky screw....because...don't look now, but the rear sight you are presently using is often loosing it's adjustment and/or (literally) falling-off while the rifle is being fired.
The new front sight is a welcomed improvement. Now, if you only had an assembly-guy who could consistently get the barrel indexed right and/or install the sight 90-degrees (plumb) to the center-line of the barreled receiver, we'd be on to something.

Thank you for the improved accuracy. I'm sure that you've spent a lot of time and money on that aspect of the rifle. My present (blued 'n wood) 582-series Ranch Rifle is the most accurate "out of the box" Mini-14 that I've had.....and over the years, I've about had 'em all.
