Go to your picture in Imgur. Hold the mouse arrow over the upper right corner, & a box will be there to allow you to "edit" your pics.
Click Edit.
In that window, upper r/h corner, a pixel size will show.
Highlight each box & re-type in a smaller number. (I use 864 x 576 usually)
Click "Apply"
Click "Save"
Then get the link you need to share it. It'll be fine.

This is totally un-necessary ! !

All that's needed is to use the re-sizer built into imgur................

1) Separate the selecred pic from the herd via left-clicking on it.

2) At the bottom of the menu located on the RH side of the isolated pic, left click on the size wanted to highlight it.

(Medium or large thumbnail sizes work best on a forum like this)

3) Click on the "copy" button to the right of the url wanted, in the upper portion of the same RH menu.

4) Paste the resized pic url into your post, with the required , etc, before/after the url.

THANKS Pete!
I was only using the things I knew how to use. I freely admit I am "computer stupid!"

You're entirely welcome ! !

FWIW, it took awhile before I noodled it out myself......

I still have no clue, as to how to use all the different links available, and just frame my URL's with /etc.
