Been crazy busy, out to Montana and Yellowstone, brought last foster charge (now 13) along. Did a little Mtn Biking and took in our first rodeo, too. What a hoot - I love barrel racing!!!

Clumsy typing as yesterday I crashed on my bike at nearly 25mph. (Signaling for left turn and hit some broken pavement) I'm wearing lots of bandages, and index and middle finger of left hand are all bound up, too. An amazing amount of blood comes out of one's knuckles. Geraldine (my bike) came through much better than I did, thankfully. It's been a very, very long time since I've done such a thing on a bike. Probably not since I was 10 or maybe 12.

Ouch...reminded me of my first crash making a left and sliding-out on loose stuff at age seven or eight. Heal well!

Got banged up one time back in 2003 when I hit a bad spot and couldn't get my foot out of the "Toe Trap" in time.
Guess that's what I got looking for Maximum power while losing weight.

Thank you muchly - a wee bit sore, that's for certain.

One of the highlights of Yellowstone, worth the crazy climb, The Grand Prismatic Pool:

That's 'us'

The colors are amazing.

Other stuff, but having taken nearly 1200 pix, I've some sorting to do!

What have I missed. Is CG still causing trouble?

Glad to see you back....I was wondering. Fine looking crew you have there. So sorry about the "owies". Hope your hurts go away fast and there are no longering after effects.

We are well, here. Hunkered down in the heat.

Hi,

Stay upright as much as you can, P2: hurts a lot less! I took a spill a few weeks ago that was a really lucky one. It musta looked kinda like the kid on the tricycle from the old Laugh In show: I planted a front tire in soft sand going down a hill and just tipped over. Embarrassing more than painful! But the flip side is there's still a an occasional touch of residual discomfort in a shoulder from the last time I fell down, and hit pavement, almost 20 years ago. Healing seems to take longer each year...

Great pictures, too!

Been there - dragging my sorry butt up a hill when the infamous Brooks QR toestrap did exactly that. Luckily I was close to the edge of the road, and the waiting lawn was luxuriously soft. Of course there's been a time when I forgot to loosen the strap...

Thanks on the pix. It's hard to go wrong with a view like that!

Couple more photos:

Took in our first rodeo when back in Helena. The announcer asked who was attending their first rodeo. I think it was just us three (daughter has attended multiple times). Our 'cheers' didn't come close to filling the joing, LOL.

It was getting dark by the time the barrel racing started, so not many good photos. The power and spirit shown is just amazing.

Now, back to Yellowstone. You'll forgive me if this ain't such a close up as the one above, LOL.

"Mmmmmm, dinner!"
