Nearly ten years ago, in September of 2004, I put a proposition before my church. I was making very good money at the time, was tithing, supporting our Faith Promise ministry, and supporting missions to the Navajo. I was wanting some way to invest in the youth of my church. So my proposition was open to kids up throught twelves years aof age: if they would learn the sixty-six book of the Bible, and recite them to me, I would award them with a Silver Eagle.
At that time, Silver Eagles were $11.00 each, but have since fluctuated to as high as $37.00. After retirement, they were not so easily obtained, but whenever I needed one, the Lord provided one.
Yesterday, a young boy and a young girl, both aged eight years of age, recited the books of the Bible to me, to get their award next Sunday morning
They were number ninety-nine and one hundred!
