I hate to ask but I have a fellow wanting to trade me a NIB single six convertible 6.5" stainless for one of my cz 22 rifles. I value the rifle at $400. Whats the pistol worth? Thanks

can't always look at such transactions as a dollar:dollar thing. Look at it also, if not more, as what would be more enjoyed by you. Happiness with the gun can easily outweigh a few dollars. :)

It's up to you if it's a good deal or not. You didn't say exactly what CZ .22 you have to trade. They've all but been discontinued and are highly desireable. Ruger SS's are a dime a dozen and you can buy a great condition OM 3 screw, though blue, with all the goodies for the $400 you think your CZ is worth. The NM SS SS's don't go for much more.

Good deal? For your buddy...yes. JMHO

well I traded him for the single six. It is new "unfired". The rifle was and still is a very desireable full stock cz452. I have a few of them in the American and lux models mostly 22lr but I do have a 17m2 as well. I don't have any 22 revolvers up until now. I think I will enjoy it and yes I think he got a good deal
